Two accomplished hair stylists have recently taken over their mentor's former Malibu space to open a new salon called, Cie Sparks.
Michael Sparks, who previously worked with Chris McMillan, and Heather Cie, who trained with Tracy Cunningham, had always dreamed of owning a salon near the beach. So, as soon as McMillan's Malibu Country Mart location with Michael Canale became available, the two jumped at the chance to launch their own thing and have recently started taking clients in the newly opened space.
The 624 square foot salon houses a team of 7 stylists and colorists as well as manicurist, Maya, who specializes in Japanese nail art and works with Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Jessica Simpson and Kelly Osbourne.
"We are one of the only high end salons in Malibu and a great fit for the community," Says Cie. "Most of our clients come from this side of town and we're glad to help make their salon commute a little easier."
Cie Sparks is open 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
