While Racked LA editor Natalie Alcala is off enjoying her new baby, we're thrilled to announce that for the next 12 days Melissa Magsaysay will be taking the reins as guest editor.
Melissa Magsaysay is an LA-based fashion journalist and author contributing to numerous lifestyle publications and websites as well as co-founder of new lifestyle site, The Hive. She was most recently a style writer for the Los Angeles Times, a position she held for five years. Prior to that, she was the West Coast fashion market editor at Women's Wear Daily for three years. As a trusted voice in the fashion industry, Melissa also consults for several luxury and contemporary clothing brands, providing editorial direction and creative content for a variety of different companies.
Melissa currently writes for the Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Hollywood Reporter, Glamour, Glamour.com and Angeleno, and hosts regular style segments on Access Hollywood Live. Her best-selling book City of Style: Exploring Los Angeles Fashion from Bohemian to Rock was released in May 2012.
