Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

LA-based bike-riding babe Jaclyn Shanfeld is the CEO and founder of online luxury fashion marketplace Shop Hers, which allows women to buy and sell designer goods from each other's closets. Hermès, Celine, and Chanel bags in every color, rows of designer shoes, and racks filled with high-end clothing are some of the luxe things you'll find at Shop Hers's massive label-loving headquarters on any given day. When off duty, Shanfeld likes to shop brick-and-mortar style, too. Her latest retail discovery is a chic boutique in Brentwood stocked with cool basics.
I have a new favorite called The Lady & The Sailor in Brentwood. I found the adorable East Hampton-inspired casual boutique in Brentwood half way through a bagel and cream cheese and have been smitten ever since. I love all things heather grey and striped and they certainly can relate. I highly recommend this boutique for basics and chic causal wear.
