If you've yet to explore Saint Laurent's best boutique in the world, above is your rare technicolor glimpse inside the French fashion house's renovated Rodeo Drive flagship. Last month, the lens-shy label helmed by LA-obsessed creative director Hedi Slimane released monochromatic images of its glossy new womenswear store, leaving much to SLP superfans's imaginations. We finally penciled in a Beverly Hills lunch break and can confirm that the massive new store is the stuff of our luxe-grunge dreams. Isn't she a beauty?
Located a block down from Saint Laurent's temp store—which now houses the menswear collection—the three-story, 10,000-square-foot space offers the rock-inspired brand's latest women's ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories. While the third floor remains private, the ground and second stories are dedicated to the label's current collections, with archived pieces also housed up on the middle floor.
As promised, the boutique offers LA shoppers first dibs on bestsellers and more: We're told SL 90210 exclusively stocks fall/winter '14 pieces inspired by famed Cali artist John Baldessari, that sold-out sequin gun shoulder bag, and limited edition textures (like croc-embossed leather) and colorways of SLP's iconic monogrammed carryalls and clutches. It's also worth noting that you won't find YSL Beauty here—Slimane no longer has a hand in the line and it's wholly run by L'Oréal.
Saint Laurent is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
