To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Istanbul-born, LA-based designer Kaya B. is the talent behind luxe label Mlle Mademoiselle. Her chic line is filled with glam, edgy pieces that cool girls (aka bloggers) love. Seriously, no one can resist daring leather pants, biker jackets, and futuristic lasercut pieces. Remember her Parisian pop-up last year? We're still dreaming about it. While we wait for another brick-and-mortar appearance from the label, we checked in with Kaya to find out what LA store she's currently digging. Here, she shares her favorite spot for finding vintage treasures.
Catwalk is the perfect hidden gem among the more circulated vintage stores in LA. It is a perfect place to delve into different eras of vintage clothes and pull for inspiration or a get together. They have many great pieces from the '60s and '70s, which are my favorite eras.
