"I would say that a good 50% of the book was shot in and around Los Angeles!" photographer Jeremy Kost says of his latest tome entitled, Fractured. The filtered, golden light and dreamy tone of many of the images would suggest so and tonight, Kost hits Bookmarc , for a signing and celebration.
Happening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm , Kost returns to the Melrose Place store for his latest LA signing. In Fractured, the NY-based polaroid aficionado focused on what he describes as, "broken visions, memories, dreams, desires and the overarching sense of longing." As with his past work, Kost pushes the boundaries of what a Polaroid camera can do and again, chooses subjects who are all very much supermodel-level men.
Writer Glenn O'Brien contributed the text and creative director, Sam Shahid designed the book, making for an all around nice package.
