A new workout studio has opened on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood and it's super hot. Hot as in make you sweat like your face might fall off, hot, but a fit city like LA should be able to handle it.

Hot Pilates incorporates body lengthening exercise inside a room with temps ranging from 90 to 100 degrees. It's the newest workout to join the hot revolution (think Hot 8 Yoga or of course, Bikram, which has been around for awhile.)

In this case, Hot Pilates utilizes the high temps to increase workout intensity and detoxify the body while also maintaining connectivity between mind, body, and spirit.

It's a daunting prospect, particularly if you just don't like heat that much, but now that the outside temps have finally cooled, spending a little time in a heated room, while clarifying, detoxing and getting toned, sounds like a cozy way to work out.
