Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

LA-based celebrity nutritionist Kimberly Snyder is the founder of one of LA's best juice shops, Glow Bio. Stars like Drew Barrymore, Channing Tatum and more swear by her beauty-from-within lifestyle. Although nutrition is the juice guru's area of expertise, she's also quite the fashionista. Here, she shares her favorite hidden shopping spot positioned just a stone's throw away from her mainstay smoothie shop.
My hidden gem is called La Maison De Fashion. It is a small shop hidden at the back of a courtyard at 7471 Melrose Ave. The CEO, Angelina Pitt, dresses celebrities and sources her unique pieces from stylists, auction houses, estate sales and designers. She has an ample collection of one-of-a-kind pieces from niche designers. There's no worrying about whether your outfit will be worn by someone else at the same party. A coat labeled as being worn by Katy Perry at a shoot, a perfect gold clutch—there are over 60 designers featured in this small store. Everything from Chanel and Louis Vuitton to niche brands like J & G Couture, Linden, Alana Hale and Merlin Castell. I picked up a great black Victorian era vintage necklace there that is one of my favorite pieces, as well as high-waisted black sailor pants, which I get oodles of compliments on. Check it out and you might find your own treasure.
