Back in November of 2012, A.P.C. hinted at their plans to open a Melrose Place boutique. After quietly planning their big move for more than a year, the 27-year-old cult-favorite French label has finally confirmed that they are, indeed, taking over a 3,000-square-foot space on the luxury shopping stretch—and it's opening this April.
Founder and Kanye collaborator Jean Touitou tells WWD that A.P.C.'s new home will be located at 8420 Melrose Place, not too far from his existing store on Croft. New neighbors include equally rad brands like Isabel Marant, Equipment and, soon, The Row.
Touitou adds that the Melrose Place opening, will carry womenswear, menswear, kids gear and accessories,
60 new stores planned for 2014. (Update: A.P.C. tells us that they will have a total of 60 stores worldwide by 2014, both new and existing.) Lucky for us, this exciting expansion will include two more shops in LA: one in Silver Lake and, as rumored, Downtown!
