New LA Exhibit Celebrates Iconic Makeup Artist Kevyn Aucoin

Our city is quickly becoming a hotbed for groundbreaking fashion exhibits. Following exciting retrospectives for icons like Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon and Diane von Furstenberg, LA will soon be home to a tribute to '80s and '90s beauty legend Kevyn Aucoin.

Taking place on March 1st and 2nd at The Makeup Show inside DTLA's California Market Center, the event will showcase nearly 70 items from the late and great artist's archives. "There are going to be exclusives that the public has not seen before, such as photos, tools that he used when he was working on his books and swatches that Kevyn made himself of product before it launched," Kevyn Aucoin Beauty director Viviana Martin tells WWD. She adds that they're also going to display a legacy video with praises from his many celeb clients.
