Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you love the ultra-cool, ultra-minimal vibe of LA-born lines like Cerre and Building Block, meet Objects Without Meaning.
Founded by Alexandra Michelle in 2011, the men's and women's brand is carried at a handful of sleek retailers across the globe, including Mohawk General Store, Mohawk Man and Steven Alan Annex in LA, Personnel of New York (the store owner even gave them a shout-out here), United Arrows in Tokyo and Hartwood in Australia. Edgy e-tailer Need Supply are also big fans.
Explore OWM's Stella Berkofsky-lensed lookbook called "O-M SS-MMXIV" after the jump (highlights include breathable linen knits, cotton gauze, lightweight Italian suede, denim and their signature silken Cupro fabric) and shop the brand's current sale here.
