From designing jaw-dropping spaces for the Viceroy to creating eye-popping bejeweled accoutrements, does Kelly Wearstler have any room to spare on her extensive resume? Home decor blog Domaine notes the multitasking creative maven will soon add yet another title to her long list of accomplishments, as California Home + Design is honoring Wearstler as their second-ever Design Icon during their annual awards gala in San Francisco next Tuesday.

"Kelly Wearstler defines California design with her raw-meets-refined aesthetic and glamorous celebration of natural materials," CH+D mag editor Erin Feher tells interior design industry pub Editor at Large, adding that the intense juicer and bestselling author's game-changing interiors are "admired by designers and design enthusiasts around the world." Last year, SF-based architect and interior designer Orlando Diaz-Azcuy became the first to nab the Cali design mag's distinction.
