Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Zooey Deschanel can do no wrong as the queen of twee: She's got Bette Davis eyes, stars in an adorably-styled hit TV show, consistently nails the red carpet mani game and has even lent her pretty face and musical talents for a cute cotton commercial. The LA-based actress and chanteuse's next obvious move is a fashion line, which is finally happening thanks to a chance encounter between the vintage enthusiast and all-American designer Tommy Hilfiger.

As Hilfiger tells WWD, the quirky-meets-sporty range of 16 dresses—named To Tommy, From Zooey—is "very Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy; really from the Sixties in London." (Surprised much?) The sportswear-inspired designer goes on to tell the fashion trade pub what we all know and love about the New Girl star: "She reminds me of Audrey Hepburn for her sense of humor, her sophistication [...] At the same time, she has a Jackie O type of chicness to her."

Priced from $98 to $199, select pieces from the retro collab will hit shelves at Macy's starting April 14th; the rest of the capsule collection lands one week later at select Tommy Hilfiger stores and online.
