Back in April 2012, British-born model turned LA-based designer Paula Thomas revealed that she had big plans to open a Thomas Wylde flagship in our city later that year. After a lengthy delay, Thomas tells WWD that her luxe, rocker-infused label is finally ready to spread its retail wings—and it's all going down this February.
If you're unfamiliar with Wylde's work, just know that the Hollywood-beloved brand has been around since 2006 and is available in more than 100 stores worldwide, including LA's own Just One Eye. Star fans include Nicole Richie (she wore Wylde to last year's American Music Awards), Cameron Diaz (Thomas exclusively dressed her character in The Counselor) and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (she stars in Ten Times Rosie, a Rankin-lensed, Wylde-cloaked tome released in 2010.)
Look out for opening details and more major moves from the brand, including "e-commerce, denim, a diffusion line and then licenses for fragrance, eyewear and footwear."
