There's a lot of magic going on at Malibu Country Mart. Adding to the supermodel-frequented shopping center's slew of new openings is Vintage Malibu, a curated vintage boutique with a serious selection of high-fashion treasures. This just might be Malibu's best-kept secret.
"We chose Malibu for a few reasons, mainly because of its iconic location," founder David Rovinsky tells us. "Malibu attracts a clientele with discerning taste and with appreciation for beautiful vintage pieces from the great luxury brands of the 20th century. Our unique concept reflects the Malibu lifestyle, so it was a natural fit."
In addition to carrying one-of-a-kind jewelry and watches from big-names like Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Fred Leighton, Bulgari and David Webb, Vintage Malibu hooks up hard-to-find handbags by Chanel and yes, Hermès. (Don't miss the Birkin bags near the entrance.) There's more: Rovinksy tells us that clients can also sell, consign and trade items, so your flashiest closet castoffs finally have a worthy home. Check it out.
