When LA's top blogstars are looking to show off an air of downtown cool, many snap themselves sporting Anine Bing's edgy, laid-back wares. No stranger to the camera herself, the Swedish model-turned-designer recently opened up her LA home to closet peeper site The Coveteur.
Dressed in her own designs (and killing it, might we add), the uber-creative Bing reveals her collections are a mix of California's bohemian style and Scandinavian design. "I only design what I wanna wear. If I love it, I feel confident that other women will too," she says, adding that she finds inspiration everywhere, from LA's flea markets to "old music videos from the '70s, magazines and blogs," plus her bevy of "beautiful friends."
The genetically-blessed mother of two (and frontwoman of Kill Your Darlings—is there anything she can't do?) also tells the site her style hasn't changed one bit since having kids, and she's on a mission to help other moms do the same. "A lot of women start to dress boring and forget about themselves when they become moms. I want to help them change that. You can be a mom and still look great and still be you!"
Bing also spills on her preference for men's cologne, maintaining that they're "a little more fresh and not as heavy as a lot of women's perfumes." See the designer's artsy pad and her unsurprisingly chic monochromatic wardrobe here.
