Limited edition e-shop Of a Kind's specialty is showcasing indie designers, including many of our city's own top talents. The site just unveiled their latest collab of creativity-inspiring coasters by fashion designer Lizz Wasserman and artist Isaac Resnikoff, aka the dynamic duo behind the minimalist furniture line Project Room. (They're also behind the revamped digs of healthy Silver Lake eatery Sqirl.)
Made locally out of metallic cowhide leather, the set of seven geometrically-shaped coasters do double-duty as dinner party entertainment and coffee table protectors. "[We're] really focused on simple elegant design: we think you can do so much with simple decisions," Wasserman tells us. "Tangrams are similar: you can literally make anything you can imagine with these simple geometric shapes."
