If you missed out on both chances to catch Wittmore's debut West Coast pop-up shop, your do-over has arrived. The one-year-old menswear e-tailer has just announced that they've officially relocated from NYC to open their first-ever permanent location at 8236 W 3rd Street.
Located a block east from their former temporary shop next to Gogosha Optique and across from Toast, the new spot features a gallery-inspired design with a large logo graphic painted on one wall, creative lighting and custom fixtures designed by a local metalsmith. Merch finds include GANT Rugger, Mollusk Surf, Levi's Vintage Clothing, Quality Peoples, Timo Weiland, Universal Works, Armor Lux and more.
"From the very beginning the Wittmore aesthetic was inspired by the West Coast, and after launching the site I realized that a big percentage of orders were coming from CA," founder Paul C. Witt explains. "I like 3rd street because it's centrally located and totally walk-able. Guys visit from all over, including Downtown, Los Feliz, Calabasas, Santa Monica and even Venice. This community is really the center point of this town, and people enjoy driving here for the restaurants and shopping."
Wittmore LA is open daily from 11am to 7pm.
