Downtown and menswear are two things that are having big moments in LA. If you welcomed cult-cool Silver Lake men's shop MRKT with open arms, then you'll be delighted to know that edgy LA designer Daniel Patrick is bringing his inventory of luxe leathers, dark drapey duds and drop-crotch pants to Broadway in DTLA next month.
Landing just a block away from the soon-to-open DTLA trifecta that is the Ace Hotel, Acne and Urban Outfitters, Patrick's nearly 2,000-square-foot space is set to open in mid- to late-October and will house his store on the main floor and his office, studio and showroom on the upstairs level. Taking a cue from the designer's signature monochrome style, the space will boast a "minimalist approach and black and white" color palette. In addition to stocking his namesake collection, merch will also include Patrick's knomadik line of uber-soft basic tees and accessories alongside archive and exclusive pieces.

For now, find Patrick's goth-inspired gear over on the Eastside at MRKT and at a handful of other local stockists, or online here.
