Stylist and founder of Rad and Refined, Jacqueline Rezak, grew up in the Highland Park area near Chicago and later attended Columbia College in the city. The private arts and media college offered Rezak the chance to major in both fashion and journalism and even with her entire family in the city, LA was calling her name. "The moment I finished I was like, 'I'm out," she said of her abrupt cross-country move.
When she arrived to the City of Angeles she began an internship at a fashion PR firm and worked on her street style blog, Rad and Refined, before she decided to take another big step by turning that blog into an E-Commerce site. "I started carrying lines that I really loved, MinkPink, House of Harlow, What Goes Around Comes Around..." Rezak explained. "I was styling each image for the store and that got me into styling."
Rad and Refined, which has Rezak's "City chic meets beach style" aesthetic, now has some of fashion's hottest brands mixed with vintage and exclusives. Rezak, who has outfitted bands like Blondfire, Tegan and Sara and Aly & AJ, handpicks everything sold on the site based on what she's seen in the world of celebrity, what's new and hot and what's wearable.
We set down with the queen of all things rad where we found out that she loves Friends, Lululemon and has trouble saying "No" to a Diet Coke.

"I'm having the Berry Bliss but I added strawberries and almond milk. I'm trying to take one step in the healthy direction this morning."

"Venice. Fo sho."
Describe the perfect Friday night.
"Katsuya in Brentwood or The Ivy, a little beach action, hang out with my friends and see some music maybe."
Where is your favorite place to vacation?
"Probably Hawaii, I've only been there once but it was so nice. Somewhere warm."

"I want to save the Earth so maybe I'll bring my own bag."
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
"For a minute I wanted to be a police woman, that is totally not at all what I want to do! Then I wanted to own a beauty parlor, which I still kind of want to do, not gonna lie. That would be so fun."
What's your guilty pleasure?
"Diet Coke. I also watch Friends reruns like it's my job. I always have it on in the background if I'm not listening to music. It makes me so happy, it changes my mood 100%."
So, who's your favorite Friends character?
"I love Ross."
Leather or Lace?
"I love them both! I wear a lot of leather jackets but I guess lace!"
What is your signature scent?
"I like Issey Miyake. Another really good one is Quelques Fleurs, I just spray it on and then they stay on my clothes and end up being mixed. They're great."
Dressy or Casual?
What outfit would you want to be buried in?
"Honestly, I think a pair of Lululemon leggings, a tank top, an Aviator Nation hoodie, a cute bag and some good accessories."
What's the last movie you saw?
"Identity Thief, it's hysterical."
What is your favorite coffee table book?
"My friends just got me a sick Taschen book. It's the history of fashion and it has Stella McCartney fabric on it, there were only like 100 made."
What is your most prized possession?
"One of my grandmother's, who was a Holocaust survivor, had a Chanel bag and it was the first nice thing that she ever got. I have that now, it's super spesh."
