LA's Gogosha Optique and London-based specs line Oliver Goldsmith are a match made in heaven. Both known for their range of totally out-there eyewear and for shading the pretty peepers of stylish stars, the two Lady Gaga-loved brands are teaming up for a month-long shop-in-shop at Gogosha's West Third Street boutique next month.
The British brand's holding court from October 8th to October 31st at the wild and zany optical shop, which'll be seeing a whole lot of Union Jacks, chessboard checks and more during its mod makeover. It's all happening under the watchful eye of the iconic sixties eyewear designer's great-granddaughter Claire Goldsmith, whose own line of fashionable vintage-inspired frames will also be available alongside her great-granddad's classic crazy collection of men's, women's and kid's glasses during the family's friendly four-eyed takeover. In addition, the pop-up will also feature limited-edition, vintage and handmade Goldsmith gear.
Wanna help Gogosha wave their wacky white flag of surrender? Next Thursday, Oct. 8th from 4pm to 8pm, grab your most insane pair of spectacles and toast the totally welcomed British invasion with Claire Goldsmith herself. In addition to enjoying the sweet swinging '60s vibes, partygoers can expect plenty of English bites (think sea salt and vinegar crisps) and sips (we're not talking tea) at the evening bash.
