KILLSPENCER Crafts Industrial-Inspired Bags in Silver Lake

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

From edgy-chic streetwear at MRKT to laid-back cool merch at Mohawk Man, Silver Lake has much to offer for men seeking stylish, unique gear. Striking a balance between both aesthetics is KILLSPENCER designer Spencer Nikosey, who picked the hipster 'hood as the home of his luxe accessory label's 2,200-square-foot workshop and storefront.

In addition to showcasing the brand's industrial-inspired collection of handcrafted leather and canvas duffel bags, backpacks, travel accessories and tech gear, the space also houses a team of talented craftspeople, who make all the merch right in the store. Plus, shoppers can score limited edition and one-of-a-kind items at the shop before they hit the label's website.

Love KILLSPENCER's artfully crafted wares? Though Nikosey & Co. landed in Silver Lake earlier this summer, they're officially toasting their new abode with a grand opening bash next month. Stop by the shop Thursday, October 17th from 7pm to 10pm to welcome them to their new nabe.
