Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Remember when we broke the news that The Row was headed to Melrose Place? Big news for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen fans: the twins are taking over John Frieda's recently vacated 3,600-square-foot space for their luxe label's LA flagship, reports star-studded real estate website Celeb Digs.

The celebrity home blog writes that the move happened in the last week, and that the former salon (which was also once smooth crooner Neil Diamond's abode) "boasts a sparkling courtyard pool, floor-to-ceiling windows and polished tile floors." The massive store will be right next door to chic shirtmakers Equipment L'Agence and just down the way from celeb-loved Isabel Marant.
