As proven by the creatively curated bazaar that is Parachute Market, Downtown LA and design have a running history of good chemistry together. The marketplace is exploring that scientific theme as we head into fall with the second edition of their conceptual shopping bash, titled "Elemental," this weekend.
Happening this Saturday from 12pm to 7pm and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm, the two-day fair will once again feature an array of new and vintage fashion, fine art, home decor and more, this time influenced by periodic table of elements and "the physical and ethereal origins of the design process." Stylish vendors include geometric jewelry faves Twenty Two Hours, vintage clothing dealer A Current Affair, artsy cool accessory makers Brook & Lyn, colorful textile designer Rachel Duvall and lots more. (Here's hoping we see some Breaking Bad-inspired merch, too.) Plus, there'll be a food market curated by the fine folks of Kinfolk magazine.
Intrigued? Tickets are $6 online here or $8 at the door, and a portion of sales will be contributed to Inner City Arts.
