Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Known for rolling out straight-off-the-runway looks before anyone else, online luxury retailer Moda Operandi is already carrying Rodarte's Rihanna-ish collection from this past NYFW. Although the hometown hero's controversial spring 2014 range is meant to capture "the real L.A.," prices are anything but accessible. Like, not even close.

How pricey, you ask? This plaid shirt is $1,495, this leopard dress is $8,050, this cropped sweater is $2,070 and this belt is $1,610. To their credit, designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy's incredibly intricate detailing and use of high-quality fabrics somewhat warrant the hefty price tag, so there's that. And while we did spot a few in-reach accessories, like this hat and this bracelet, the majority of items are pretty wallet-crushing.

If you're a Rodarte superfan willing to spend a pretty penny on the label's '80s take on West Coast street style, you have six days to gobble it up before Moda Operandi's trunk show ends.
