3.1 Phillip Lim x Target: Bags First to Go at Target WeHo

This morning at 8am, the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target collab officially lands in stores. Below, Racked LA associate editor Danielle Directo-Meston reports live from the #Limsanity at Target West Hollywood.

• Supportive boyfriends guarding the scene.

• Picked clean.
• Women's clothing still available one hour in, though only large and x-large sizes are left.

8:05am: All bags are gone!

8:07am: People are playing nice and swapping with others. Awww.

8:09am: They're going to restock the bags. People are going nuts.

8:12am: Overheard by a guy: "I was scared for my life!"

8:14am: There's a limit of three per item.

8:16am: More bags are rolling out. Crowds are happy.

8:18am: Although the crowds are pretty wild, staff tells me that this is nothing compared to Missoni mania.

8:19am: Clothes are picked clean; there are mostly large and extra large sizes left.

8:20am: Mens, however, is still pretty well-stocked. Shoes are running low.

8:23am: Plenty of women's leopard blazers left, too.

8:30: I grabbed the last "Boom!" scarf for one lucky reader! I'll be standing at the corner of the shoe aisle across from the intimates department for the next ten minutes. First to meet me gets it! I'm wearing a grey sweater, black pants and a pink Botkier purse.

8:33am: So far, people are saying tops are running large, bottoms are running small.

8:34am: Now folks are waiting around to play trade and trying on their hauls. More women's merch is being rolled out, too, and the frenzy has pretty much died down.

8:45am: Merch recap: lots of blue and black beaded tops, basic tops, drop-waist black and white dresses. There's a good helping of the floral dresses left, and most of the leopard print items are plentiful, too.

(Ed note: a tipster tells us that Target Eagle Rock is pretty low- key. "Hardly any cars in parking lot, but downstairs there's a handful of shoppers with shopping carts full. Tons of clothes left. Prob most people bought online like myself. Mellow scene.")

8:50am: As far as men's merch goes, size S is pretty much gone, but there seems to be plenty left of everything. Shoes are low and there's only size 10 left.

9:10am: And I'm out. Good luck with the crowds today, people!
