When I'm having a shitty hair day and can't be bothered with attempting to style it, I call my glam squad to do it for me. Just kidding, I wear a hat. While fedora and Panama varieties are reserved for see-and-be-seen occasions, Neff beanies are my go-to for running quick errands.

Credit goes to my husband for getting me into this Cali label's super-soft style. I stole his one day and was surprised how lightweight and loose it was versus the binding, itchy beanies I've come across from other brands. While the Daily Heather comes in a few other colors, the versatile gray goes with everything. Bonus: The relaxed fit also keeps good-hair-day hair intact if you just need it for weather-shielding purposes.
