If you were feelin' the idea of H.Bloom's floral delivery service but prefer a brick-and-mortar place to stop and smell the roses, you'll want to see what's blooming at Silver Lake's new luxury floral shop, Spruce.
The eastside blossoms boutique is the West Coast HQ for Spruce florist and founder (and new Angeleno) Gaige Clark. "Los Angeles feels like New York did 20 years ago," she says of her new LA digs. "It's filled with mom and pops, locally sourced products, and a wide range of economic and cultural diversity." Yup, that's Silver Lake in a nutshell.
In addition to designing original, minimalist chic floral arrangements (using all local plants and hand-crafted Cali-made wood and glass containers, no less), Spruce can also handle botanical requests for weddings, home and office decor, landscaping and more. And yes, they deliver: if you're in the mood to treat a special someone (or yourself) to a weekly or monthly bouquet of goodness, they'll send over a fresh vase of flowers on the day of your choice. Hit up Spruce's website to learn more about their services here.
