While we've been showering lots of love on fast-growing Downtown and Venice's ever-evolving Abbot Kinney, you best believe we haven't forgotten our old Greater Wilshire shopping haunt of Larchmont Village. Starting tomorrow, a bevy of boutiques along North Larchmont Boulevard are teaming up for four days of deals as part of the neighborhood's annual sidewalk sale.
From Friday, August 23rd to Monday, August 26th, head over to this hidden gem of a 'hood—which will soon be home to LA's only Dipytique store—to score discounts on everything from clothing, stationery, home goods and more. Just a few spots that'll be opening their doors to sale-minded shoppers are contemporary designer clothing boutiques like Library, Nicole and Noni; cool children's apparel stores Flicka and Picket Fences & Petticoats; stationery and gift shop Landis General Store; Hans Custom Optik; Larchmont Beauty Center; and Devall Design & Home.
While LF is not a confirmed participant, the retailer did tell us their 60% off storewide sale is still in full swing, with additional markdowns on dresses and shoes (!!!). Also, eco-minded basics store Alternative Apparel has yet to confirm with us whether they're in on the action. For a full list of area businesses and addresses, head over to Larchmont Buzz's directory here.
