If you're already planning your end-of-week retail therapy (it's never too early!), you may want to head to Alhambra this Friday and Saturday. LA-based, global domination-minded designer Trina Turk is throwing her semi-annual sample sale at 3025 West Mission Road, where you can score gear starting at $20 a pop.

Going down August 23rd from 9am to 6pm and August 24th from 9am to 5pm, save big on all things colorful from the designer's womenswear and Mr. Turk men's lines, plus swimwear and home goods at the two-day sale. Cash and credit cards are accepted, but you'll want to leave strollers and large shopping bags at home.
