Hottest Trainer Contestant #14: Aree Khodai

Welcome to Racked LA's search for Los Angeles' hottest trainer. Over the coming weeks, we'll profile sixteen smoking candidates who work at local gyms and studios. (Not only do they look hot in spandex, but if you take their classes, you might someday look nearly as good.) Then, once you've gotten to know everyone, we'll host a March Madness-style showdown in which you get to vote for your favorite. Let the games begin!

We received more than a few submissions for our fourteenth contestant, Aree Khodai. Described as "super friendly," "extremely energetic" and "a beautiful teacher with a beautiful spirit," the incredibly flexible brunette teaches yoga (power, vinyasa, and her own blend) at Flywheel West Hollywood. She describes finding her calling "as a result of being one with the universe" after a series of unfortunate events.

"I worked in finance for over ten years," she reveals. "In 2011 after years of working in a man's world, going through a difficult divorce and walking away from my condo, the universe closed certain doors and opened this beautiful life for me."

Although Khodai is out of the so-called man's world, she still knows how to roll with the guys. "I'm kind of a gay man in a tomboy's body," she explains. "I am the biggest football fan and still have my Tony Dorsett uniform from the early '80s. I also throw a football like Dan Marino's quick release!"
