Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Whether you're feeling the laid-back vibes of Venice or into Hollywood's glitzy image, there's something for every scene here on our home turf. To help you toast your LA love, home goods e-shop Rypen recently released a line of City of Angels-inspired wall art for your abode, which you may have spotted among the plethora of inspiring wares at Dwell on Design's show a few months back.
Crafted from walnut wood by artist and mid-century modern enthusiast Frederick Arndt, the three-piece collection is the result of a partnership between the artisan and Rypen founder Peder Nyhus, who was inspired by the urban adventures and main haunts of his college years at UCLA. Though plans for local stockists are still in the works, for now you snap up the pieces (priced at $150 each) online here, here and here.
