Given the success of one-stop salons like Blushington, Assembly and Drybar, its clear that Angelenos prefer instant gratification when it comes to beautification. The latest time-saving concept to crop up in our city is Skin Laundry, a skincare spa that offers 10-minute clinical facials.
Founded by Chris Carey and Elson Lai, the express service is coined as a "a personal trainer for your face," whipping skin into shape with laser technology that tightens, tones and corrects skin in record time. With two crowd-pleasing locations in LA (West Hollywood and Santa Monica), Skin Laundry tells us that they're planning to open a spot at bustling Fashion Island in Newport next.
Prices start at $75 for a single facial with $220/month for a membership. First-timers can book a free introductory session here (WeHo) and here (SaMo). Want more? SL reveals that they'll soon be coming out with a product line, which will allow clients to keep up with their "skin workout" at home.
