Kitson to Open Massive Shops at Beverly Center, Fashion Island

Kitson continues to make big moves. In addition to landing a prime space inside LAX's revamped Tom Bradley International Terminal, the mega-trendy retailer is set to roll out a new store format in just a few weeks. The first stop will be an 8,000-square-foot shop inside the Beverly Center this August.

Apparel News recently sat down with Kitson CEO Christopher Lee, who revealed that the new look will "encompass all of Kitson's store categories—ranging from men's and women's to kids' and gifts—in a mini department store." Fashion Island is also getting a 5,500-square-foot Kitson 2.0 this September, which will replace its existing OC location.

Lee goes on to predict that Kitson will "more than double its fleet of stores to 30 locations" in the next two years. This hefty expansion plan is being funded through a $15 million secured lending facility.
