Last fall, we revealed that Bottega Veneta was set to open a Melrose Place boutique that would offer a unique curation of the Italian luxury star's fashion and home goods. The 2,700-square-foot space has finally opened, and it's charmed with a leafy façade, an all-white-everything interior and a one-stop shopping vibe.
"Here we have taken the opportunity to translucently showcase whatever it is you may desire, from tabletop to bags and accessories," explains creative director Tomas Maier. "I'm pleased to be able to offer a more personalized shopping experience to our clients in Los Angeles and I hope they will enjoy this luminous new location."
In addition to an LA-inspired range of ready-to-wear and footwear for women (early-fall 2013 is currently on deck), the brand tells us that the shop also features "several men's fall bags which are only available in Melrose and our Fifth Avenue store," including a soft croc briefcase and city tote. Home highlights include photo albums, glassware, letter trays, lamps, side tables and even pet accessories.
See images of the opening bash hosted by Architectural Digest editor in chief Margaret Russell here and swing by the new Bottega Veneta store Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
