Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Events like Open Runway can help budding designers get their foot into the door. But if you dream of becoming the next Rachel Zoe or Brad Goreski, then this weekend's School of Style pop-up class is one you don't want to ditch.

Happening this Saturday and Sunday at DTLA's The Standard, stylist and FIDM instructor Luke Storey and alumna Lauren Messiah will teach students the secrets of networking, how to build a portfolio, the art of prepping and wrapping a style job and more career essentials. Attendees will also get a comprehensive workbook, sample forms and a guide with indispensable deets on the industry.

Plus, Reyal Fashion blogger/celebrity stylist Reinaldo Irizarry and plenty more fashion insiders will be on hand to dispense expert tips to hungry minds.

Can't wait to sign up? The two-day course costs $575, but Racked readers can score an exclusive 15% discount (that's over $80 off) with the code RACKEDSOS.
