Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you missed out on the major-ness that was Coachella, then this Friday and Saturday's two-for-one shopping and music extravaganza should be on the top of your list. Connected Fashion Fest and Jubilee Music & Arts Fest are joining forces June 7th and 8th in DTLA's Arts District, bringing you the ultimate block party for only $50 both days (or $30 for single day tix).
Shop over 20 local labels, including Kill City, American Apparel and Racked faves Everly, who'll be selling spring and summer samples for $25 and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces. Be sure to pay a visit to The Well, who recently landed on our Indie 38 list.
When you've had enough retail therapy, head over to the stages, where you can catch top-notch music acts like Black Lips and DJ Franki Chan on Friday, or Cayucas, Fool's Gold and the Drums on Saturday. There'll be plenty of food trucks and beer to fill you up, too. Check out the full list of Connected Fest labels and shops here, and scope out the entire Jubilee lineup here.—Danielle Directo-Meston
