Although Superga's creative directors Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen are famous enough to lead a campaign themselves, their collaborative spirits inspire them to spread the love. The twin moguls recently teamed up with blogging superstars The Sartorialist and Garance Doré for an adorable photo and video diary that salutes the Italian footwear brand's versatility. "If These Shoes Could Talk" showcases the style of five tastemakers across the nation, starting with fashion stylist and editor Jessica de Ruiter in Los Angeles.
In the debut video (skip to 1:30), Garance explains that although she brought all these shoes to the shoot, Isabal Marant-clad de Ruiter wanted to wear the white, tried-and-true Supergas she sports while trotting LA. "I've worn Supergas for years," the stylist explains. "I love them. I think they're a super-classic shoe. They're unisex and they go with everything."
Read more about de Ruiter's shoe and city love (she's a big fan of the Hollywood Farmer's Market) here and visit the Superga site next week for their spotlight on Miami.
