Following the success of Billabout's New York store opening last year, the Australian media site recently selected Venice for its second B_Space location. The sunny retail shop/media hub soft launched back in April and now features tons of cult-cool designers from Down Under, including Ellery and One Teaspoon.
"As Aussies, the beach feels like a home away from home and LA is the first stop after crossing the Pacific from Australia," says founder and former Rolling Stones magazine journalist Pete Maiden. "There's such a diverse and successful Australian community in Los Angeles and B_Space Venice Beach aims to be the home base for showcasing Aussie lifestyle, fashion and talent to our American hosts."
In addition to global shopping gems, the space at 1515 Park Row also offers membership opportunities. For $20 a month, members score unlimited access to its Vittoria Coffee Bar, 10% off all merch at the shop, swimsuit hooks and lockers, unlimited access to B_Space surfboards and wetsuits, exclusive party invites and a whole lot more. Check them out Wednesday through Friday from 7:30am to 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
