Today's pick comes from Racked Chicago Associate Editor Zara Husaini.
Judge me all you want, but I'm not a huge fan of blue jeans. I mean, I get it. They're classic, they go with everything, you can dress them up and down. But given a choice, I'd go for black denim every time. So maybe I'm a little biased, but I think these Seven for all Mankind jeans are the best thing to happen to denim since skinny jeans replaced their boot cut counterparts. Don't be alarmed by the description. Yes, they have a "second skin" fit, but that doesn't mean you have to look like Giselle to wear them well. They're extremely flattering, especially on petite girls. I'm all of five feet tall and I didn't even need to have them hemmed.
These jeans are also unbelievably comfortable. The material feels soft and strechy, but looks surprisingly sturdy on the body, which means you don't need to worry about covering your butt. (Sidenote: If you opt for leggings instead, please do worry about covering your rear.) I own three pairs of this exact style. Overkill? Maybe. But the fact is, I wear these all the time and even the pair I picked up two years ago still looks and feels amazing.
