CITYWIDE— The inaugural Design Shopping Night, organized by the LA Design Festival, is toasting to the wonderful world of modern design tonight from 6 to 9pm. Select shops and showrooms will stay open late for visitors to shop their offerings at discounted prices, with bubbly in-hand. Among the list of stellar shops is home decor favorite A+R at 171 S La Brea Ave, which will be partying in three dimensions as they showcase an imaginative 3D-printed gown designed by Michael Schmidt for Dita Von Teese. THE GROVE— Also going down this Saturday is the fourth annual Taste at The Grove. From 10am to 6:30pm, the all-day food fest will feature live cooking demonstrations by an all-star lineup of chefs from beloved LA eateries. $20 gets you access to the tasting hour, where Grove restaurants will be offering delectable samples of its best dishes.
