Alaia Rose has met her match. After leading the pint-sized fashion pack for quite some time, Monica Rose's baby girl has finally landed some competition, thanks to a five-year-old Laguna Beach boy name Alonso Mateo.

The folks at The Cut profiled Mateo today, noting that he was first discovered by Ugo Mozie after the Beyoncé stylist found him on Instagram, praising his confidence and how "his clothes were exceptionally tailored." Since then, the Mexico-born son of stylist Luisa Fernanda Espinosa (father is a private equity firm CEO) has garnered an Insta-fanbase that hang onto his many looks, which range from rocker to street to ridiculously dapper.

Mateo tells The Cut that he has an affinity for "suits, sneakers, and sunglasses," and likes to dress like dad "because he has cool suits." Look out for him at shopping haunts like Kitson Kids and Little Marc Jacobs.
