They called, you answered. After reviewing submissions for Los Angeles Fashion Council's first-ever Open Runway, the organization has zeroed in on five fresh talents to showcase at Hollywood nightclub Couture this Saturday.
The official roster includes SAbel (hand-painted silk designs by Serena Abel), Veltimera (eco-friendly wears by Angelica Chavez), Undercover Lover (festival-friendly garments by Chrissy Consolino and Vanessa Salazar), Samantha eng. (effortlessly cool basics) and The Paulettes (French-inspired looks by Camille Lavigne and Rufino Acuna).
At the main event (8pm; doors open at 7:45pm), each designer will flaunt 12 or more looks from current and previous collections. One look from each range will make it onto LAFC's Facebook page to be voted on by the public (you!). The designer with the most votes scores a spot in Open Runway's September final, where they'll compete for a slot on the October schedule at LA Fashion Week. Claim your free seat at Saturday's show here.
