Downtown is really shaping up to be LA's setting of choice for summer fairs. Following Figat7th's music fest and Downtown Modernism's mid-century marketplace, this weekend brings Parachute Market—a quarterly conceptual marketplace dreamed up by the team behind Storefront Bazaar.

Located at 405 Mateo St in the Arts District, the inaugural bash runs Saturday from 12 to 7pm and Sunday from 12 to 6pm. The modern and vintage fashion, furniture and fine art mecca's theme is "Psychedelic Summer," which the organizers tell us refers to "postmodern design with roots in psychedelia." Fashion is curated by Richard Wainwright of A Current Affair and stylish vendors include Prism of Threads, New/Found, Le Renard Bags, Siren Vintage, THVM and much more.

Hungry? Parachute will also host a food market curated by Lindy & Grundy's Amelia Posada. Buy $6 tickets here or $8 tickets at the door.
