Everything is bigger in Sherman Oaks, apparently. In addition to scoring a massive Urban Outfitters surplus shop, the neighborhood's Westfield Fashion Square Mall has just landed Free People's largest boutique in the LA area.
Set to open at 10am this Friday, June 21st, the bohemian retailer's 3,400-square-foot space is nestled between the shopping center's Sephora and White House | Black Market on the first floor. FP tells us that the interior features a "Boho Bungalo" theme, complete with "a custom built pergola embellished with carvings in a white painted finish" near the entrance. On the merch tip, this spot will carry Cali style essentials and an assortment of handpicked exclusives that are typically only available online.
Want a preview? FP is hosting an exclusive kickoff party this Thursday from 6 to 8pm, and you're invited. We hear that the first 50 people to arrive receive a "Summer Survival Kit" with beachy things like sunnies, sunscreen and sea salt spray. (Psst: One lucky bag will also include a $100 Free People gift card.)
