Welcome to Store Sidekicks, a summer feature that salutes the most adorable creatures lazing about LA's boutiques. Know any cute mascots? Tell us about them here.

The official "shop dog" at Leanna Lin's Wonderland, Nixon, was found abandoned in a Corona park in December 2011 and quickly made his home at the Eagle Rock boutique. The poodle/terrier mix, who can often be found hanging out in obscure corners, is always eager to emerge from his hiding places to greet customers with a sniff, especially if they're willing to give him his favorite kind of attention, a belly rub.

Owner Leanna Lin says the pooch likes to spend his days sunbathing in the middle of the store where rays are the best or staring out the front door barking at skateboarders as they pass. The colorful shop, which offers everything from Lin's own jewelry line to an art gallery corner and studio where customers can make their own jewelry, is also the host to ongoing pop-up events. The clever Nixon, of course, is on-site for it all.
