A new men's shoe boutique is stepping onto Melrose Ave just in time for Father's Day. This Saturday, June 15th, Finland-based brand The Left Shoe Company is opening its very first American flagship store in the 1,700-square-foot space formerly occupied by both Arcade and Stylehaus. We here that the bespoke footwear mecca offers some pretty high-tech features.

In addition to hosting Left Shoe's super-luxe, made-to-measure styles, the shop will also introduce state-of-the-art 3D scanning technology for dudes to craft the perfect fitting shoe. Once their step-in scanner analyzes your precise foot size (the process takes about five to ten minutes), a membership profile is created and saved for future purchases either in-store or online. Pretty snazzy.

With styles starting at $350, you can also custom design your own shoe (materials, colors, sole and even an inscribed message) and receive the finished product within 4 to 6 weeks. Stop by this weekend to learn more; welcome Left Shoe to the neighborhood Monday through Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 12 to 5pm.
