Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Liberty Fairs isn't your ordinary trade show. Rather than wait to see how founder Sam Ben-Avraham's debut events fair in New York in July and Las Vegas in August, he's jumping right into opening a brick-and-mortar space located at 8366 1/2 West 3rd Street on June 1st.
WWD reveals that the 800-square-foot space is called Concept 8366 1/2 and will feature a new line-up of indie men's and women's brands every 30 days. The first rotating partner is menswear e-tailer shopwittmore.com, which will hold down the fort through June 30th.
"The shop will showcase my curated retail experience, and we're lining up some killer events and in-store promotions that will have us celebrating all month long," Wittmore founder Paul Witt tells the fashion trade journal. Stay tuned for more.
