Michael Stars Dives Into Malibu Country Mart on June 21st

More exciting retail news for Malibu. Following the debut of AllSaints' year-long pop-up-shop, LA-based women's apparel favorite Michael Stars is bringing its cool California style to the Malibu Country Mart. The brand reveals that their new seaside boutique will open on June 21.

Nestled between Vince and Double RL & Co, the 1,405-square-foot space boasts an upgraded design concept with modern elements such as large windows, a spacious floor plan and raw wood accents that are unique to this location. We also hear the boutique is hiring a full-time manager and various sales positions, via a Craigslist ad.

With an LA flagship in Santa Monica and locations in Manhattan Beach, Fashion Island and Santa Barbara, this will be the retailer's fifth SoCal shop.—Jessica Estrada
