West Hollywood's art and fashion stretch has a new name. Formerly called "The Avenues: Art, Fashion & Design District," the walkable radius of Melrose Ave, Beverly Blvd and Robertson Blvd should now be referred to as the "West Hollywood Design District." Here's what the organizers had to say about the change: "Simply put, the new name conveys where and what we are to visitors and locals alike." [WHDD]
